TALLHEDA in the Institute of Viticulture and Wine Growing of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Novi Sad!

Foodscale Hub announces the addition of two esteemed experts in the fields of agrifood and the digitalization of supply chains to its network: Daniel Copot and Blagoja Mukanov, M.Sc. Their expertise will play a pivotal role in advancing Foodscale Hub's mission to foster innovation and collaboration in agriculture and supply chain digitalization.

On December 17, 2024, in the scenic town of Sremski Karlovci, at the Institute of Viticulture and Wine Growing of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Novi Sad, Foodscale Hub joined a fruitful exchange of ideas and best practices from the Serbian region. This visit highlighted innovative approaches to connecting farmers with other value chain actors, showcasing how local organizations like ITC – Innovation Technology Cluster, Green Point – short food supply chain, and AgFutura Technologies are supporting farmers in adopting modern, sustainable practices.

The visit was graciously hosted by Dean Nenad Magazin and colleagues from the Faculty of Agriculture, who provided a warm welcome and actively participated in the discussions. Foodscale Hub extends its gratitude to all participants for their valuable insights and hospitality. It was especially heartening to see many of our colleagues from Foodscale Hub actively engaging in the audience, reflecting our collective commitment to driving impactful change.

This gathering marks another significant step in collaboration under the TALLHEDA initiative. Together with our Serbian partners – the Faculty of Agriculture, Foodscale Hub, and Terra Consulting – and other international stakeholders, we are building a robust and long-term alliance for digital agriculture education. This partnership underscores our shared vision of equipping the next generation of professionals with the tools and knowledge to lead in a rapidly evolving agrifood sector.

Foodscale Hub looks forward to continued cooperation with its partners in Serbia and beyond as we work towards creating a more sustainable, innovative, and digitally integrated future for agriculture.
