On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, a seminar titled “Digital Technologies in Agriculture” was successfully conducted by Professor Constantina Costopoulou at the Kato Diminio Community of the Municipality of Sikyona. The event took place from 19:00 to 21:00 and was organized in collaboration with the Kato Dimini Cultural Association.
The seminar was part of the broader TALLHEDA project activities, aiming to raise awareness and strengthen knowledge around the digital transformation of the agrifood sector. Professor Costopoulou presented key innovations that are shaping modern agriculture, highlighting how digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, and Data Analytics can improve productivity, sustainability, and decision-making in agricultural practices.
Participants included local farmers, young agripreneurs, researchers, and community members interested in understanding how digital tools can support more efficient and environmentally responsible farming. The interactive discussion that followed allowed attendees to exchange ideas and explore practical examples of technology adoption in local agricultural contexts.
