Smart Agro Hub represented the TALLHEDA project at BEYOND 2026, Greece's most prominent technology and innovation exhibition, held from 17 to 19 June 2026 at the Metropolitan Expo in Athens. BEYOND Expo has rapidly evolved into one of the most influential technology and innovation platforms in Southeast Europe, functioning as a regional convergence point for technology, investment, digital policy, and innovation ecosystems — a knowledge triangle with a quintuple helix model bringing together technology, innovation, and public policy.

BEYOND 2026 marked the 6th edition of Southeastern Europe's leading international exhibition for technology and innovation, attracting exhibitors, startups, investors, policymakers, and digital innovators from across the region and beyond. The exhibition featured international startups, investors, and organisations pushing boundaries in AI, fintech, cybersecurity, and smart city solutions — making it an ideal arena for TALLHEDA to engage with the innovation community at the intersection of digital technology and real-world impact.

Smart Agro Hub's presence at BEYOND 2026 provided a strategic opportunity to introduce the TALLHEDA project and its key outputs to a broad and diverse audience of technology professionals, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers operating well beyond the traditional agricultural research community. The exhibition's focus on applied digital innovation created a natural space for conversations about precision agriculture, AI-powered field monitoring, citizen science data platforms, and the role of Higher Education Institutions in accelerating digital transformation in the agri-food sector — all areas where TALLHEDA has produced concrete, deployable results.

BEYOND 2026 also offered a valuable networking environment for identifying potential collaborators, investors, and technology partners interested in the commercialisation and scaling of the digital agriculture tools developed within the TALLHEDA consortium. By participating in one of Greece's highest-profile innovation events, Smart Agro Hub reinforced TALLHEDA's relevance not only within the Horizon Europe research ecosystem, but within the wider national and regional innovation landscape that will ultimately determine how digital agriculture technologies reach farmers, cooperatives, and rural communities across widening regions of Europe.
