The EUNIS24 Congress took place in Athens, Greece between June 5th and 7th, 2024, providing a dynamic forum for presenting and publishing the latest research, development, and implementation of information technology and systems in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The event also offered a unique platform for exchanging perspectives on the digital transformation of European universities, addressing key challenges and opportunities related to demographics, mobility, energy, and digital sovereignty.
The program included a range of activities such as oral and poster presentations, panel discussions, tutorials, hands-on sessions, and exhibitions, along with an exciting social program exploring Athens and its surroundings. Participants submitted papers on topics like governance and policies for higher education, information systems design and deployment, and innovations in learning, teaching, and research.
TALLHEDA was presented at the EUNIS 2024 Congress through the submission of an abstract titled “Transforming Access to Excellence with Successful Alliances of Higher Education in Digital Agriculture”, followed by a presentation. The presentation highlighted the TALLHEDA project's methodology as a replicable model for forming sustainable alliances, with a particular focus on Digital Agriculture and other related fields. The primary objective of the TALLHEDA Alliance is to enhance the critical mass of highly qualified scientists and to establish connections with local ecosystems, thereby promoting the Quadruple Helix of innovation in Widening countries.
