REZOS BRANDS, a partner in the TALLHEDA Horizon Europe project, has published an article in English on the Wikifarmer platform entitled "Digital Agriculture in Practice: How Agrifood SMEs Can Turn Data into Profit and Sustainability."

Wikifarmer is a free agricultural knowledge library used by over 12 million visitors in 17 languages, making it one of the most widely reached agricultural knowledge platforms globally and an ideal channel for disseminating TALLHEDA's insights to farmers, agrifood professionals, and SMEs across Europe and beyond.

The article addresses one of the most pressing challenges facing agrifood small and medium-sized enterprises today: how to move from raw data collection to actionable insights that drive both commercial performance and environmental sustainability. Drawing on the practical experience and expertise developed within the TALLHEDA project, the article guides SME operators through the fundamentals of digital agriculture data — from sensor-generated field data and remote sensing outputs to market intelligence and supply chain traceability — and explains how these data types can be translated into concrete business decisions that improve yields, reduce input costs, and support credible sustainability reporting.

Wikifarmer is now evolving from the "Wikipedia of Farming" into the operating system for agricultural trade, deploying artificial intelligence across price intelligence, buyer-supplier matching, and automated transaction management — a context that makes the publication of TALLHEDA's practical digital agriculture content on the platform particularly timely and strategically aligned.

The publication of this article forms part of TALLHEDA's broader Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation strategy, which aims to ensure that the project's knowledge outputs reach practising farmers, agrifood entrepreneurs, and SME managers — not only the academic and research communities.

The article is available in English here and in Greek here.
