The University of Novi Sad has recently published a research paper titled:

“Impact of Altitude, Nozzle Type and Remote Sensing on Pesticide Deposition Quality and Efficiency in Wheat Crop Protection.”

This study investigates the effects of spraying altitude, nozzle selection, and remote sensing technologies on the quality and efficiency of pesticide application in wheat cultivation. The research provides insights into optimizing crop protection practices, aiming to increase efficacy while minimizing environmental impact and chemical use.

Key findings highlight:

  • The critical influence of spray height and nozzle configuration on deposition uniformity and coverage.

  • The potential of remote sensing tools to monitor spray distribution in real time, enabling more precise and data-driven decisions.

  • Practical recommendations for farmers and agronomists seeking to enhance sustainability and operational efficiency in wheat crop protection.

This publication aligns with the goals of digital and precision agriculture, contributing to improved resource management, environmental protection, and sustainable production in cereal crops.

You can find it here.

The study is available through UNSFA’s publication portal, providing valuable guidance for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers involved in modern crop protection strategies.
